Eddie’s Legacy of Service...

During WWII, Eddie was stationed at Ellsworth Air Force Base when he met and married the love of his life, Clara. He completed his military service in the Korean War.
Providing vision and leadership to many educational, tourism and arts organizations, has made him a remarkable role model for South Dakotans. Eddie was inducted into the SD Hall of Fame in 2007.

           Eddie has served over 30 years on the Mammoth Site Board of Directors from 1982 – current. He served as President, from 1984 to 2008. One of Eddie’s visions for the Mammoth Site has always been to see it continue to serve as a world-class science center.

Honoring Eddie’s Legacy of Service...
In honor of this extraordinary person, the Mammoth Site is establishing the Charles E. Clay Legacy. Our goal is to raise $850,000 by February 28, 2013.
